Calfee, Halter & Griswold has added a new partner to its Corporate and Finance practice in Cleveland. Michael R. Trivisonno has joined the firm, where he will focus on guiding clients through complex transactions and corporate matters.
Trivisonno's work centers on advising public companies, private businesses, private equity groups, and founders. His experience covers mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate matters that arise during a company's lifecycle. His arrival is part of the firm's ongoing effort to strengthen its transactional capabilities in the region.
Before joining Calfee, Trivisonno spent time at another major law firm, where he built a practice around middle-market deals and growth-stage companies. His background includes representing both buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border transactions, as well as handling corporate governance issues and general business counseling.
The addition gives Calfee more depth in its Cleveland office, particularly for clients looking for counsel on structuring deals, negotiating terms, and closing transactions. Trivisonno's practice also touches on private equity work, where he has helped investment firms evaluate targets and manage portfolio company matters.
Calfee is a full-service law firm with offices in Ohio and other locations. The firm's Corporate and Finance group handles a range of work, from entity formation to large-scale mergers. Trivisonno's arrival is part of a broader push to expand the team's capacity for handling significant deal work for regional and national clients.
