Dykema, a national law firm, has added Jacobus "Jake" Vollebregt as Senior Counsel in its San Antonio office. Vollebregt will work within the firm's Corporate Finance and Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice groups.
He joins Dykema from Quadrant Law Group, LLP, where he served as a Partner. In his previous role, Vollebregt advised clients on complex commercial transactions, data privacy and cybersecurity issues, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management. His experience covers a range of legal areas that are increasingly important for businesses navigating digital security and financial regulations.
The addition of Vollebregt strengthens Dykema's presence in the Texas market and bolsters its capabilities in two key practice areas. Corporate finance work often involves sensitive data handling, making the combination of these specialties valuable for clients. Vollebregt's background in risk management also aligns with growing demand for legal counsel that can address both transactional needs and data protection requirements.
Dykema operates multiple offices across the United States and serves clients in various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and technology. The firm has been actively expanding its San Antonio team to better serve clients in the region.
