European Nations Urged to Equitably Distribute Defence Spending

European countries must improve their approach to sharing the financial responsibilities of defence, according to French Finance Minister Eric Lombard. Speaking to journalists on Monday, Lombard emphasized the necessity for European Union member states to bolster their defence budgets if they are serious about achieving strategic autonomy.
